It is a bacterium called Acetobacter, Rhizobium, Azotobacter, Azospirillium. It fixes atmospheric nitrogen and it penetrates colonizes the roots as well as the tissues of the plant. It releases some plant growth hormones. Recommended: for all vegetable crops. CFU: 5X10^8per gm Liquid: 2X10^8 per ml Dosage & Application: Take 4kg of Azospirillium mix with 400kg of FYM / Vermi compost add 1kg jaggiry water and keep it for one week in shade then broad cast over one acre of field. Seed treatment: Take 10gm of Azospi power add little water and make it paste then apply to the 1kg of seed. For tuber crops / Seedlings: Take 500gm of Azospi power mix it in 50 liters of water then soak the seed for 5 minutes.
